Greek giants Panathinaikos were Norwich’s opponents for the Club’s final match of pre-season and two goals from midfielder Bradley Johnson ensured the hosts comfortably ran out as 2-0 winners.

Before the match I interviewed Norwich fans, recorded general views and completed post-match interviews with goalscorer Johnson, his teammate Sebastien Bassong and manager Chris Hughton for Al Jazeera Sport, as well as a 200 word match report for The Mail on Sunday.

Despite Norwich’s impressive victory, the main news line from the day concerned new signing, Gary Hooper, who was stretchered off with a shin injury and had to have an X-ray.
